This week in Review

So this last week went by in a blur... Grad school is in full swing, and life is busy!

My school has been slammed with illness, and my students have experienced a wide range of sickness; strep throat, the flu, ear infections, viruses, high fevers and the list goes on. Luckily I have remained healthy (knock on wood).

I did visit a new optometrist this week, Jeff had an appointment too. We were both really pleased with the doctor and staff at the office. I was diagnosed with Giant Papillary Conjunctivitis, which means I have bumps on the inside of my eyelids, caused by my contacts!! I'm so glad to finally know the reason to my eye discomfort. Anyway, I've got some drops, and new contacts, and I go back on Thursday to make sure I'm getting better. Jeff, of course, had no issues with his eyes, his prescription hadn't even changed. He picked out some new glasses, they should be ready next week. I'll post a picture when we pick them up.

Saturday I coached our last Upward basketball game of the season. Our four and five year old team has really improved, and we did great in our last game. Coaching for this league has been a great experience.

It looks like this week will be just as busy as last week... I've got a tech workshop for the school website, eye appointment, blood drive, and maybe some snow later in the week. :)
