1. Who are you and what do you do?
I'm Erin, I teach kindergarten, first, and second grade in a Multi-age setup.

2. What is your primary goal for taking this course?
I want to gain ideas/confidence/courage with using technology with kindergartners.

3. What is your philosophy of education?
Children are more open to learn when they feel safe and comfortable in the classroom.

4. What do you see as the greatest benefit of using technology and/or digital media in the classroom?
Using technology helps students make real connections with content.

5. What is your biggest concern or challenge with using technology and/or digital media in the classroom?
I have several challenges; young learners, large class size, resistant IT staff, and limited resources. Resources are the biggest concern.

6. Provide an example of how you currently use technology and/or digital media in the classroom.
I use an iPod in my classroom daily for various musical needs.

7. How does your classroom today differ from when you were the same age as your students?
School is all day, not half. We had computer in room, but teacher was afraid to use it.
